Stan Benerofe - Senior Advisor

Stanley Benerofe has been associated with Marwit for almost 30 years in various capacities, including operating manager, advisor, consultant, and Director. Mr. Benerofe has served on the Board of Directors of Marwit Management Company, Inc. since 1995 and on the Board of Directors for Nupla Corporation, a Marwit portfolio company, since 2002.

In the early 1970’s, Mr. Benerofe co-founded Barr Laboratories (NYSE: BRL), an early manufacturer of generic pharmaceuticals, and now a company with $1.1 billion in annual sales. Mr. Benerofe also served as Director of Licensing for Refac Technologies (ASE: REF), an international licensing and technology transfer company. Mr. Benerofe also spent 18 years at Avnet, Inc., reporting to the Chairman of the Board. While at Avnet, Mr. Benerofe served as the CEO of the Electrical and Engineering Group, and was a Corporate Senior Vice President and member of the Board of Directors. Currently, Mr. Benerofe is managing partner of CTC Development, LLC, developers of a proprietary analog modular multi-line GSM (Global System of Mobile Communications) dialer being marketed in the European Community. He is also a partner in a graphics/printing firm. Mr. Benerofe holds degrees in Engineering and Law from New York University.
