Robert
J. Perret, Jr. - Senior Advisor
Robert J. Perret, Jr. is a highly experienced
and hands-on manufacturing CEO who has been
a Senior Advisor to Marwit since 2001. In 2001,
Marwit and Mr. Perret formed Panapoint Manufacturing,
LLC as a joint venture to directly
originate and acquire promising manufacturing
businesses based in California with revenues
of $10 to $50 million. The first of these acquisitions
was Nupla Corporation in December 2002, which
Mr. Perret currently serves as President and
CEO. Mr. Perret lends his expertise to Marwit
on its manufacturing portfolio companies, in
such diverse areas as due diligence, strategy,
integration, processes, product development,
foreign sourcing and sales, channel development
and distribution. From 1989 to 1997, Mr. Perret
was President and CEO of ASM Company, Inc.,
where he grew shareholder value tenfold, resulting
in the sale of the business in 1997 to Harbor
Group, a successful private equity firm established
in 1976 whose focus is build ups of industrial
manufacturing companies. From 1997 through
2001, Mr. Perret served as a Group President
for Harbor Group, continued to run ASM as President,
and managed the sale of ASM to Graco in 2001.
Prior to ASM, Mr. Perret was partnered with
Arthur J. Rosenberg, the founder of Tyco Laboratories,
in Panatech Research & Development Corp.,
where he acquired, managed as CEO, and profitably
exited several manufacturing businesses. Earlier
in his career, Mr. Perret held senior management
positions at Sheller Globe Corporation and
Parker Hannifin Corporation.
Mr. Perret is a member of the Young Presidents
Organization (YPO), holds a B.S. in Industrial
Engineering Technology from Southeastern Louisiana
University, a M.S. in Industrial Engineering
from Columbia Pacific University, and an MBA
from Western Illinois University. |
