Thomas W. Dollhopf, Principal

Thomas W. Dollhopf joined Marwit as a Principal in March 2006 and has ten years of experience in private equity and operating management.  Mr. Dollhopf has worked closely with Marwit, both as a co-investor and as an operating manager, for the past three years.  Most recently, Mr. Dollhopf served as Chief Financial Officer for two U.S. subsidiaries of Siemens A.G., including IndX Software Corporation, a Marwit Fund I portfolio company.  His responsibilities included acquisition, integration and overall financial management of these operations.  Prior to this, Mr. Dollhopf co-founded Siemens Venture Capital (“SVC”), where he served as an Investment Partner for six years.  Since its founding in 1998, SVC has committed nearly $1 billion to a wide variety of companies.  Mr. Dollhopf began his career as a financial manager and divisional controller at DaimlerChrysler and Siemens.  Mr. Dollhopf holds both a bachelor’s degree and an MBA (Dipl.Kfm) from the University of Bayreuth, Germany.
