Robert D. Wendell, Vice President of Origination

Robert D. Wendell joined Marwit in March 2006 and has over eight years of experience as a principal with one of the leading acquisition search firms in the lower middle market, Richard Vander Kaay & Associates, Inc. (“RVK”).  Since joining RVK in 1997, Mr. Wendell has successfully completed 18 private equity and corporate client-directed acquisition search projects totaling more than $300 million in transaction value.  These transactions have included both platform and add-on acquisitions for a variety of firms.  Mr. Wendell has worked closely with Marwit on several search projects over the past four years including the search that resulted in the successful Nupla Corporation acquisition.  Mr. Wendell holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
