Columbia Aluminum Products was established
in 1947 and is a leading manufacturer of weather-strip,
moldings, and door threshold products for OEMs and
mass merchandisers such as Home Depot. The Company’s
products are utilized in new construction, rehab
construction, and DIY markets. In 2000, Marwit sponsored
the management buyout of the Company from Vancouver,
WA based Columbia Ventures Corporation, a $300 million
investment firm. In 2003, Marwit sold its interest
to its CEO management partner in a recapitalization
