King® restaurants in the greater Cincinnati,
Ohio market and is the 19th largest Burger King® franchisee
in the U.S. In 2004, Marwit acquired the 32 restaurants
from Ameriking, formerly the largest Burger King
franchisee
in the U.S., which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy
protection in late 2002. Marwit originated
and sponsored the acquisition, working in conjunction
with an experienced industry CEO and private equity
partner Jupiter Holdings LLC. Fire Grill, LLC is
currently an active portfolio company of Marwit.
