Infotec was a leading provider of computer
systems technical training and certification services
to IT professionals in California, Texas, and the
Pacific Northwest. In 1995, Marwit sponsored the
management buyout of the Company from Infotec Development,
Inc. (“IDI”), a $100 million Southern
California based systems integration firm.
In 1998, the Company was recapitalized by management
and new private equity investors, and Marwit’s
original investment and equity interests were fully
repurchased in the transaction.
